The day is starting without you.  The alarm is blaring and you are just laying there.  What are you doing?  You know you must get up and out but you just can not make it today…Now what…

How many of us have done this very same thing?  Everyday?  Once a week? Look up.  God is waiting patiently for you to call upon Him for your strength to get through the day.    God desires for us to commune with him.  That is why we were created. Psalm 4:3 ”Know that the Lord has set apart the godly for Himself; The Lord will hear when I call to Him.” (NIV)

Call upon the Lord when you are overwhelmed.  He will listen.  Unless we do this dutifully, daily and if not, hourley, our lives will become overwhelmed by “US”.  Some say that “you are weak to call upon a god.  I say to them “I am weak, but He is strong.”  God gives us strength and courage.  King David called upon God to give him strength and guidance.  Was King David a weak man?  This gives you a little something to think about.

Give each day to the Lord above.  Pray constantly.
